Pathway Program
The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Pathway is a virtual 10-week certificate program designed for aspiring founders, social entrepreneurs, and innovators looking to develop their skills in digital health, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven impact.
As the first certificate training of its kind, the Pathway program fosters a dynamic community of innovators by providing expert-led training, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Participants gain hands-on experience in innovation strategy and business development while preparing for DIH’s signature Pitch Day event in the fall.

Who Should Apply?
We welcome individuals with a strong interest in innovation, digital health, human-centered design, and entrepreneurship. This program is open to:
- Founders and early-stage entrepreneurs across the U.S.
- Innovators from the East Harlem or broader NYC area
- Individuals exploring new ideas in digital health and seeking mentorship
- Those looking to refine their business concepts and prepare for Pitch Day
Whether you’re just starting or already working on a project, this program provides training, mentorship, and networking to help you advance your idea.
What to Expect?
- 10 asynchronous-paced training modules covering key topics in health innovation
- Four live virtual seminars required for completion
- An interactive virtual community for discussion, collaboration, and networking
- Exclusive 1:1 mentorship for selected participants to refine their ideas and pitch
If you are part of a team, we ask for one application per team, preferably from a founding member of the team.
If you already have a developed pitch, we encourage you to apply directly to DIH Pitch Day in late September.
Eligibility
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about digital health innovation and addressing challenges related to social determinants of health.
This program is open to:
- Aspiring and current founders interested in healthcare innovation
- Entrepreneurs from East Harlem and the broader New York City community
- Individuals from various professional backgrounds and communities looking to develop solutions in digital health
- Those eager to gain mentorship, training, and networking opportunities in the health innovation space
