Incubator Suite

The Diversity Innovation Hub Incubator supports rising entrepreneurs to design, incubate, and launch early stage models of their innovative solutions to address community health priorities.

The DIH Incubator is an eight-week structured mentorship program for early-stage founders in healthcare innovation to further develop their product. You will have access to mentors within the Mount Sinai Health System network, innovative leaders in the SDoH space, and local community organizations. Our goal is to provide you with all the tools you need to push your venture forward. Following the intensive eight-weeks, DIH supports each team through a personal brand initiative, where they collaborate on a monthly basis to build brand efforts, provide collaboration, and continue to support the growth of the group.

Details

The incubator will host 10 early stage start-ups to help guide them towards the creation of their MVP. Each week will consist of a rotation of check-ins with business mentors, project managers, developers, other incubator teams, and capacity building workshops. The program will conclude with a final demo day to the Mount Sinai community and Venture Capital investors.

Eligibility

We are seeking early-stage startups with diverse and unique perspectives who have strong interests in Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) and digital health. This initiative aims to develop capacity for women and minority founders. We strongly encourage women and individuals from underrepresented groups to apply.

We welcome teams from the East Harlem and broader New York City community with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

Teams with a Mount Sinai affiliate or student will be given preferential treatment.

Teams will benefit the most if they can commit at least three to four hours per week outside of DIH Incubator to work on their venture.
