Our Story

Founded in 2019, the Diversity Innovation Hub, a venture from the Office for Diversity and Inclusion at Mount Sinai Health System, has evolved as a community concept. Built and shaped by each of our team’s unique experiences and pasts, we continue to evolve based on the needs and experiences of the communities around us. We operate as a unique community driven incubator that tackles social determinants of health driven disparities by focusing on increasing the diversity of entrepreneurship in the health innovation space, and providing guidance on how to build inclusive and thoughtful health technologies.
